Will I be able to feel my finger again?

Recently, I had an accident with the chisel, and I cut straight through my tendon and some nerves. It was on the middle part of my left index finger, and since I tore straight through my tendon, my finger is unable to bend. However, that can heal. I'm more worried about whether or not I'll be able to feel my finger again, because I currently can feel very little in the front part of my finger. Everytime I touch it, it feels a bit tingly, but I can't feel anything else. Will this heal over time?
