Does if cause you strife to know your religion condemns billions of your fellow man to eternal torment?

Nearly all Western religions claim to be the only path to salvation. That being said no one religion holds the monopoly on the world's population. Therefore if you truly believe that your belief system is the only and correct one, you are accepting that billions of others now and in the past have been incorrect and their only recourse is to burn for all of eternity. This is a fate not even befitting someone on the scale of Hitler. If Hitler were to burn for a trillion years for each of his victims he would not yet have spent even a fraction of a percent of eternity.
