Why do I like big features?

Like say I had to make a decision between a very male-model looking guy, perfect chiseled jaw, small perfect nose, sexy squinty eyes, nice lips and perfectly sized, straight teeth OR a guy who had a bum chin, kind of a big nose, huge eyes, an overbite with the kind of teeth that are really big so it looks like his mouth is kinda always open and big lips. How come I would choose the second one? Like, how come we are attracted to certain types? What character traits does a human have that defines the kind of people we are attracted to?
