How can i fix my ipod from water damage?

Hello, today i dropped my ipod touch into a bowl of pho, i quickly took it out and continue playing cause nothing happened to it but about a 3 minutes or so later it turned off by it self, so i panicked and took my charger and charged it, it didnt work so i tried to turn it back on, but still it didn't work. After that, i put it in some uncooked rice (found info on youtube) and i left it in there! I'm not sure if it is going to work because it is still in there, but just incase, is there any other way? Please help me, my mum doesnt know yet! I just need help. Thank you! :)
